Starbucks releases sea salt drinks

Sea salt is no longer limited to savory dishes. It can also be used in desserts and yes, even sweet drinks like bubble tea and cocoa. But have you tried it with coffee?

Now, Starbucks has released two new coffee drinks that combine the rich flavor of coffee with the savory taste of sea salt and the sweetness of caramel.

The Rock Salted Caramel Soymilk Iced Shaken Espresso features salted caramel flavor and sugar cane syrup, shaken ’til light and smooth. This ombre drink is topped with Himalayan caramel sprinkles for the added crunch. You may try out this drink for P195 for a Tall, P210 for a Grande, and P225 for a Venti. 

There’s also the Rock Salted Caramel Oatmilk Frappucino crafted with salted caramel and creamy caramel coffee whipped cream. This joy in a cup is topped with caramel drizzle and Himalayan salted caramel sprinkles.  

In addition to the new drinks, Starbucks Philippines is bringing back one of its classics, the Pumpkin Spice Latte.  

The new drinks are now available in all Starbucks stores nationwide. Starbucks lovers may also purchase the drinks in GrabFood and FoodPanda.
