LIST: New restaurants and cafés in Bulacan perfect for your next date

Bulacan is one of the most accessible provinces if you’re coming from the Metro. Apart from the historical sites, nostalgic old houses, and charming churches, the province is known for its mouthwatering local fare.

If you’re looking for side trips after attending a concert in the Philippine Arena or planning to simply escape the busy life in the city without going too far, visit these restaurants and cafés that not only serve sumptuous food but also provide relaxing views and pleasing decors.

Monchéri Café & Bakery 

This café allows you to dine in style without spending too much. Customers will be greeted with their Parisian-styled façade with rustic and minimalist interiors that give off that warm vibe. 

Monchéri Café and Bakery offers a wide variety of dishes; from burgers, pastas, and rice meals to savory treats of ribs and steaks. 

Some of their offered drinks include refreshing juices, non-coffee, and coffee-based drinks, perfect to be paired with their wide selection of desserts and pastries, like cookies, brioche, cronuts, and baguettes. 

Monchéri café & Bakery is located at Lot 1 Block 8 Main Road St Villa Dulalia Executive Village, Meycauayan, 3020 Bulacan. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday to Sunday. 

Café Beam 

Looking for that zen energy? Café Beam offers just that. This café keeps it simple with its Scandi minimalist white interior for that easy and cozy vibe.  

Some of their offerings include all-time favorites of croissants, cookies, milkshakes, and more. If you’re looking for something savory, they also have burgers, glazed salmon and creamy meatballs rice meals, and an American breakfast platter. Perfect for quick brunches or working space for digital nomads. 

café Beam is located at Unit 1-2 Point A Bldg, DRT High Way, Tarcan, Baliwag, Bulacan. (near Sta. Barbara Homes), Baliuag, Philippines. It is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday to Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday to Sunday. 

Maillard Café

Another minimalist café is Maillard Café in Malolos. This industrial-designed space is great for chill dates or working space.

Must-try drinks include the Lotus Biscoff Latte, Taho Latte, Iced Strawberry Shortcake, and Roasted Pistachio Frappe.

Apart from delectable desserts and drinks, they also offer salads, rice meals, appetizers, pasta, and burgers. If you like spicy food, we suggest you try their Spicy Cajun Calamares and Spicy Cajun Seafood with java rice. For truffle lovers, there's the Truffle Chicken Sandwich and the Truffle Chicken with garlic rice.

They also offer al fresco dining for nature unwinding or a quick snack run. 

Maillard café is at 31 Fausta Road, Malolos, Bulacan. They are open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday to Sunday. 

Café Sucré

Another Instagram-worthy dining spot in Bulacan is Café Sucré. This space has a lot of aesthetic lounge areas where you and your friends can chill. This café puts the spotlight on its desserts, like all-time favorite cheesecakes, cupcakes, croissants, affogato, and more.  

Not a fan of sweets? Fret not, they also offer rice meals like Chicken Teriyaki, Pork À la Crème, and Gambas al Ajillo. You can also grab a plate of salad you can pair with fruit teas. 

Good news also for fur parents as they are pet-friendly! 

Café Sucré is located along the Plaridel-Guiguinto boundary in Bulacan (across the 7-Eleven/Caltex Gas station). It is open from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday to Friday, and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. They are closed every Tuesday.

El Rio Adventura 

If you want to unwind close to nature, El Rio Adventura is the place to be. This al fresco dining is perfect for large gatherings. Some of their offerings include Penne Bolognese, Angus Beef Burger Pasta, Baby Back Ribs, Tapang Baboy Damo, Roast Beef, and more. 

They also offer pastries, desserts, coffee, and non-coffee-based drinks. 

El Rio Adventura is a riverside café at San Rafael Adventure, Brgy. Talacsan, San Rafael, Bulacan. They are open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays and until 9:30 on weekends. 

La Bistecca

Celebrating something special? Head over to La Bistecca. This Italian-style restaurant offers sophisticated meals suitable for your taste. Their menu is complete with your breakfast cravings, appetizers and snacks, bundles for large groups, desserts, refreshing drinks, and caffeine. 

If you're feeling fancy, they also offer liquor drinks from cocktails, beers, and wines which you can pair with their main dishes, like fillet mignon, flat iron steak, pan-seared salmon, or baby back ribs.
