'One Piece' star Mackenyu Arata to hold fan meet in Manila

The One Piece star is holding a fan meet in Manila, events company MediaKing Corp. announced in a Facebook post.

Titled Closer to You: Fun Fan Meet, the event will take place at the Mall of Asia Arena on Nov. 20. 

Further details, including ticket prices and seat plan, are yet to be announced.

Mackenyu is also headlining the Manila Pop Culture Convention 2023 from Nov. 17 to 19 at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The even celebrates pop culture through epic geek activities, tournaments, merchandise, cosplays, and meet-and-greet sessions with different stars.

Mackenyu shines as a skillful swordsman in One Piece. Apart from his Roronoa Zoro role in the live-action adaptation of the anime series, he's also known for his roles in Knights of the Zodiac, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Rurouni Kenshin: The Final, and Fullmetal Alchemist.
