Are Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz moving to GMA-7? Reports say they might

There's a chance we will be seeing Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz on television again. But their comeback may no longer be on their long-time home network ABS-CBN.

Reports claim that the two actors, long associated with the Kapamilya Network, may move to GMA-7.

According to Pilipino Star Ngayon showbiz editor Salve Asis, Bea has a standing offer from the Kapuso Network. The report says GMA-7 is waiting for Bea's answer, if she will accept their offer to work for the network or not.

The report does not state if the offer is for a long-term exclusive contract or just for a project. But the Pilipino Star Ngayon column is in line with a similar report in March that Bea received a "huge" offer from GMA-7.

Bea will work with GMA-7 actor Alden Richards in a movie, although the project is reportedly on hold.

If Bea will accept the offer, she may reunite with frequent onscreen partner John Lloyd Cruz, who recently announced his showbiz comeback, as a talent under actress Maja Salvador's newly-formed talent agency Crown Artist Management. The actor famously went on a hiatus from showbiz in 2017.

According to PEP.ph, John Lloyd may appear on a sitcom with actress Andrea Torres and TV host Willie Revillame. The planned sitcom, if it pushes through, will be co-produced by GMA-7 and Willie's own Wil Production.

If these moves happen, Bea and John Lloyd will join the likes of stars such as Sunshine Dizon and Janine Gutierrez, among others, who transferred networks amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
