Attention, Pinoy runners! The fun squad of South Korea's hit variety show Running Man is finally coming to the Philippines.

The original even was supposed to take place in 2020, but on February 23, concert promoter PULP Live World, through a video, announced the official date for Running Man’s A Decade of Laughter tour in Manila. In the teaser, Korean stars Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Jong-kook, Song Ji-hyo, Jeon So-min, Haha, Ji Seok-jin, and Yang Se-chan greeted Filipinos fans inviting them to their event on April 1.

“We know that you have been waiting for us for such a long time, and we would like to sincerely thank everyone,” Yoo Jae-suk said. “We heard that your tickets are starting to fade since a lot of time has passed. But a lot of you are waiting together until the day we can all meet. For that, we wholeheartedly thank everyone once again!”

“We can finally meet now! The wait is over so we are really happy,” Jee Seok-jin quipped.

Kim Jongkook added that the gang is set to conquer the Philippine stage on April 1 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

If you still have your ticket from last time, you can still use it as your entrance ticket to the upcoming event. For those who have yet to avail, ticket selling will begin on March 5 at 12 noon on Pulp’s website and SM Ticket outlets in-store and online.

Ticket prices start at P2,500 for general admission to P11,000 for VIP Standing, with four sections to choose from.

Running Man premiered in 2010 as a reality-variety show where the cast undergoes a series of challenges.

Korean superstar Song Joong-ki was one of its earliest cast, but left the show after a year to focus on his acting career.

In 2021, one of its original cast Lee Kwang-soo also left the show after 11 years, focusing on his healing from surgery after being in a car accident in 2020.

The Philippines came up with its version of the variety show, dubbed Running Man Philippines, which aired on GMA 7. Its cast consists of Kapuso artists Glaiza de Castro, Mikael Daez, Ruru Madrid, Buboy Villar, Kokoy de Santos, Lexi Gonzales, and Angel Guardian who was named as the first-ever “Ultimate Runner” of the series.
