Gen Z superstar Olivia Rodrigo released the music video for her single, get him back! on Wednesday, Sept. 13 as part of her latest album, GUTS.

Using the newly-released iPhone 15 Pro, the video was directed by Jack Begert, who has worked with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Paul McCartney in collaboration with Apple.

In the three-and-a-half-minute music video, Rodrigo casually wreaks havoc wherever she goes, destroying a home or creating a chaotic traffic jam. The video also includes several clips of her that have been combined to give the impression that there are several of her.

She also sings about wanting to make the life of an ex-boyfriend miserable at the same time win him back.

Get Him Back! is the third Guts song that the American singer-songwriter has released a video for, following the album’s early singles, Vampire and Bad Idea Right?

She released GUTS on Friday, Sept. 8, marking her second album and the follow-up to her hit 2021 debut, Sour.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Olivia went into great detail about her effort to keep GUTS from entering a sophomore slump.

“Our goal was to make something a little more playful, a record that didn’t take itself so seriously,” she said.

She also noted that she tried to build a completely new album, at the same time, trying to establish it on what she had accomplished with Sour

“The last album was definitely a breakup record, much to my chagrin. I was really trying to make it, not that, but that’s what it was. I’m feeling a lot happier these days. Everything’s pretty good. So I wasn’t going to make something super devastating, a record of ballads,” she said.

This is also not the first time a music video was shot using an iPhone. Selena Gomez's Lose To Love You and Lady Gaga's Stupid Love were filmed on an iPhone 11 Pro. And just recently, Korean girl group NewJeans released their ETA music video, which was shot using an iPhone 14 Pro.
