Love the Pinoy film One More Chance?

The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) is set to turn the Filipino movie into a musical featuring songs by folk pop band Ben&Ben.

PETA announced the exciting news after the final show of Walang Aray on Sunday, Oct. 22 as the local group surprised the audience with a performance of their hit tracks Kathang Isip and Araw-Araw.

"An ICON for an ICON! Star Cinema's cult classic meets the music of the massively popular and award-winning Filipino nine-piece band," PETA wrote in a Facebook post.

The musical is set to open in April next year.

One More Chance (2007) follows the story of long-time lovers (played by Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz) who encounter some hurdles in their relationship as they pursue their dreams as individuals.

Aside from Kathang Isip and Araw-Araw, Ben&Ben—composed of Paolo Benjamin, Miguel Benjamin, Patricia Lasaten, Agnes Reoma, Poch Barretto, Andrew De Pano, Jam Villanueva, Toni Muñoz, and Kiefer Cabugao—is also known for Maybe The Night, Leaves, and Pagtingin, among others.
