Jolina Magdangal takes a trip down memory lane as she unearths her 'favorite toys'

While we know 90s icon Jolina Magdangal to be a collector of butterfly clips and clothing with loud prints and colors, it turns out that the "Queen of Philippine Pop Culture" also has a knack for collecting toys and gadgets.

Take for example her favorite toy collection, which the Magandang Buhay host shared on her Instagram account on Monday, January 1.

"Ito ang trolls namin dati, favorite toy, pwedeng companion, at hindi fake account," the caption read.

According to Jolina, she collected these dolls believing they could make her wish come true.

"Kaya nauso ito dati kasi, sabi 'pag meron ka nito, pwede ka mag wish, stroke mo lang daw yung hair then make a wish," she said.

"Sino nagka trolls dati taas ang kamay! Naitago ko pa sila, yun nga lang madumi na.. paano ko kaya malilinis na hindi masisira? Any suggestions?" she added.

In case you don't know, Danish woodcutter Thomas Dam created a doll inspired by the troll, an old Scandinavian folklore, and called it Good Luck Trolls. It became popular in the early 70s through the 90s for its plush hair in different colors and wide eyes.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Jolina has taken a trip down memory lane. Previously, she also shared her collection of handy phones a couple of weeks back.

"Ok for todays sharing… ewan ko kung nabalitaan nyo na dati nangulekta ako ng handy phone o mobile phone kung tawagin namin yan noon… so eto nga sila … naitago ko lahat (pwera nalang sa nanakaw), pati box (pero wala na ang mga charger kasi may hindi nagbabalik pag hinihiram)," she wrote on her IG account.

The 45-year-old actress added that her phones are still working, but she needs to find a battery replacement for most.

Currently, Jolina hosts the morning talk show Magandang Buhay with comedian Melai Cantiveros and Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez.

Jolina was also known as one of the '90s love teams alongside Marvin Augustin. They starred in several television shows and movies, including Gimik, Labs Ko si Babe, and Flames: The Movie.
