Heart Evangelista's artwork to go up for auction with starting price of P90,000

One of the local star's artworks will be auctioned at the Leon Gallery this coming weekend. The untitled painting, which she also hand-signed, measures 42 cm x 42 cm. Its starting bid price is P90,000.
Heart posted a snap of the said piece in her art page in May 2020. "Loves first blossom," she captioned her Instagram post, revealing that she made it back in 2013.
The painting will be part of the Leon Exchange 31st Online Auction taking place on April 20 and 21 at 11:00 a.m. The upcoming event will also feature the furniture collections of Don Eugenio "Geny" Lopez, the late couturier Ramon Valera, lighting designer Mark Wilson as well as the art collection of Dr. Victor Reyes and Santo collection of Purita Kalaw-Ledesma.
"This online auction is a great way to acquire art and furniture, and there are so much treasures in it," Jaime Ponce de Leon, the founder and director of Leon Gallery, told PhilSTAR L!fe on Wednesday, April 17. "This beautiful work of Heart is a rare appearance at the auction. It was consigned by one of her collectors."
Aside from her acting talent and impeccable style, Heart is also famous for her talent in painting. She's known as Love Marie—her real name—in the art scene, having painted bags for fellow personalities like Kim Chiu, Carla Abellana, and Jinkee Pacquiao.
Heart had an art collaboration with Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd in July 2022. She also released a limited edition of 12 collectible art toys with only 50 sets made in August of the same year. Just recently, she wowed her followers by making her Rolex watch a standout by hand-painting its dial.
