Actress to incoming attorney: Tippy Dos Santos is graduating from UP Law
Singer and actress Stephanie "Tippy" Dos Santos is set to fulfill another dream: graduate from law school.
The artist took to social media to share her graduation photo from University of the Philippines College of Law, donning a bright smile and the university's unmistakable sablay.
She shared her UP journey, from crying in the UP food kiosks over failing her first exam to now attaining her Juris doctor degree: "I managed to make it to the finish line. Here we are today, 4 years later and finally free from the fear of the unknown in UP Law. We are finally graduating!"
She is also a Dean’s Medalist for Academic Excellence.
Tippy also thanked the people who gave her support and inspiration throughout her journey, such as her parents, sister, and pilot husband, Miguel Porcuna.
"You told me to “go for it” even when I thought I was not cut out for law school. You supported me even when things became burdensome for you and you continue to support me even now that things have become more challenging," the 27-year-old wrote.
The longtime Iskolar ng Bayan first graduated from UP in 2016, majoring in Family Life and Child Development. She will now be studying for the Bar Exams, as she also teased that she will be making more vlogs of the journey.
Tippy rose to fame as part of the original group of ABS-CBN Star Magic artists. She was also a MYX VJ and a theater actress.
