You only turn 18 once, so why not make it magical?

That's exactly what Francine Diaz did as she welcomed adulthood. The Kapamilya star had a month-long celebration, and officially concluded it with a dreamland-themed party in Malate, Manila last Feb. 26. She turned 18 last Jan. 27.

Speaking to Metro.Style, the young actress said she has always dreamed of having a princessy party.

“’Yung theme po ng birthday celebration ko, dreamy siya… Gusto ko rin kasi nu’ng bata ako ’yung parang maging princess, ganyan. Gusto ko nasa castle ako, naka-gown ako, naka-dress. So ’yun po ’yung ginawa ko na theme,” she said.

Present at the romantic affair were Direk Lauren Diyogi, Beauty Gonzales, Small Laude, and RB Chanco, among others.

Check out the details of the debut below.

Party look

To achieve that modern princess vibe, makeup artist Denise Go-Ochoa used colors that would make the star look fresh and young. For her first look, Diaz donned a peachy eyeshadow and lip color with matching light volumed falsies.

For her hair, hairstylist Jay Wee kept her hair parted in the middle and turned her long locks into soft waves. Wee finished the look with a diamond headband from Tessera.

After party look

For her after party look, Wee tied Diaz's hair up in a ponytail using a pink ribbon.

Go-Ochoa changed Diaz's lip color to a rose-stained one which perfectly complemented the star's fair skin. The ABS-CBN star's highlighted cheekbones and shoulders, and matching nail art by Mimi Qiu were the perfect finishing touch to her last look.

At Apogée Events & Lifestyle

Events stylist Gideon Hermosa transformed Apogée Events & Lifestyle in Ermita, Manila into a dreamland using "wispy petals, clouds of florals and soft candlelights".

To make the theme look more realistic, Always in Motion Live also used visual displays using projection mapping.
