Andi Eigenmann feels surreal after joining her first official surfing competition.

The former actress shared some snaps and videos of her feat at the 10th Single and Unattached tilt in La Union, where she entered the same division as the love of her life, champion surfer Philmar Alipayo, who ended up winning it.

"Really happy that we made our way up here to La Union to be part of Single and Unattached's 10th year. I remember coming to their event back in 2018 and this was the time I got hooked into surfing. [Six] years later, here I am! Joining their comp, and even being in the same division as [Philmar], who actually took the win!" she wrote in the caption.

She also expressed her admiration for for her fiance. "I'm in awe of your dedication to always do so well in everything you choose to do, Mahal. You inspire me always!" she wrote, thanking him for his love and support.

"What a surreal and super fun experience! I'll be heading home with only more love for this sport, that has brought me and [Philmar] together," she continued.

Just last month, Andi opened up about being insecure about learning how to surf due to her age and her responsibilities as a mom.

"Before I got myself really into surfing, I had a mindset that I was too old for it. Especially since being a mom of three, I thought it didn't feel right to only be learning something new for the first time. It probably would've been impossible to get good this late anyway," Andi wrote in a post.

"Luckily I am now in an environment where I don't need to fear being judged, no need to worry about being good enough for others or fitting their standard of what they believe is right and pleasing to them," she continued.

Andi moved to Siargao in 2017 and has since been sharing how fun and fulfilling it's been to live on the island with Philmar. She often shares their journey as a family on their YouTube channel dubbed "Happy Islanders."
