Annabelle Rama expresses support for daughter-in-law Alexa Gutierrez who has leukemia

Annabelle Rama gave her all-out support for her daughter-in-law, Alexa Gutierrez, who has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

On her social media pages, the talent manager expressed her sadness over Alexa's diagnosis, saying she is deeply affected by it.

"Hindi parin ako makapaniwala. Kasi ang bait bait mong manugang at sobrang masinop sa asawa at mga anak mo," she captioned the photo of Alexa with a bald head.

Annabelle continued that she has known Alexa for a long time already and that she treats her like her own child.

"Alam mong hindi ako vocal sa nararamdaman ko pero alam kong alam mo na mahal kita na parang anak ko na. Kaya alam kong gagaling ka. Habang pinapatex[t] ko ito hindi ko mapigilan umiyak," she added.

"I love you Alexa! Don't worry nakalbo ka, para sa akin ikaw ang pinaka magandang kalbo!"

Annabelle assured Alexa that she and her husband Eddie would always be there for her kids while she is getting treated.

"Pinagdasal kita everday at pinagsindihan kita ng kandila sa Sto. Nino sa Cebu for your fast recovery," she ended her post.

Alexa, meanwhile, shared the same photo and revealed that she got "emotional" seeing her hair falling.

“I was getting emotional seeing all my hair fall in chunks. I was getting mad and wanted to change my emotions quickly. We went for it and decided time for the new look. I feel much happier that we did it. Still a bit messy on top since it was spur of the moment thing. Most importantly, @life.of.guti and I love the look," she said.

"Always wanted to try this look but never had the guts,” she added.

Last Jan. 16, Ruffa Gutierrez penned a heartfelt message for her "brave" sister-in-law who has a "beautiful soul," calling for prayers.

"Lex, you are such a positive, courageous, beautiful and strong human being! I know you can beat this. God has a great plan for you. We love you and will walk with you through every step of this journey. Continue to be in high spirits. You’re not alone," she wrote.

Alexa is the wife of Annabelle and Eddie Gutierrez's son, Elvis. They have two daughters together, Aria and Ezra.
