Vincenzo Cassano is back... but not for a second season.

Song Joong-ki, star of the hit drama Vincenzo, surprised fans with a cameo in the eighth episode of the popular Netflix series Queen of Tears.

The Italian mafia lawyer plays Hong Hae In's (Kim Ji Won) divorce attorney.

In the scene, lawyer Kim Yang Gi (Moon Tae Yu) fills in Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun) about Vincenzo.

"It must be him. He must be her divorce attorney," Yang Gi told Hyun Woo. "You don’t know anything, do you? He’s a terrifying man."

Hyun Woo said dismissively that the man was "just an attorney," but Yang Gi explained about the man's past lives.

"There are many rumors about who he is. The youngest heir of a conglomerate family. A former soldier stationed abroad. Someone who came here on a spaceship. Others say he’s a werewolf. His name is Vincenzo. And he is… He’s from the mafia," he said.

Proving that he is Vincenzo, some eagle-eyed fans noticed some blood stains on his briefcase.

"[T]he blood stains on his briefcase??! this is so funny omg the silence is LOUD! as expected from the Italian mafia," one X user said.

Other fans also noticed that Vincenzo is still using the pen that Hong Cha-young (Jeon Yeo-bin) gave him.

Another fan requested that if he is indeed Vincenzo, the storyline should "let him see Kwak Dong Yeon," who acted as chairman in his brother's place (as Jang Han Seo) and CEO Hong Soo-cheol in the current drama, "and let them hug."

In case you didn't know, the Queen of Tears' production director, Kim Hee Won, has also worked on Vincenzo.

The drama's series finale received a nationwide rating of 16.2%, as reported by Nielsen Korea. The Netflix show also made it to tvN history as the sixth highest-rated show following Crash Landing on You, Goblin, Reply 1988, Mr. Sunshine, and Mr Queen.

Last year, a theatrical adaptation premiered in China with Japanese actor Masanari Wada as Vincenzo Cassano and Japanese idol Tomita Suzuka as Hong Cha Young.
