Cher, 76, has just let slip her romance with a 36-year-old, and she doesn’t “give a f—k what anyone thinks.”

On Twitter, the singer revealed her 40-year age gap relationship with Alexander “AE” Edwards—the vice president of a popular record label with beloved singers like Rihanna and Justin Bieber.

Cher tweeted a photo of her boyfriend with the latter’s name, ending it with a heart emoji.

In a separate post, she said: “I’ve always taken chances. It’s who I am. Love doesn’t know math, it sees.”

While most of her followers were quick to show their love and support for the pair, there were some who criticized their relationship. Others were also unsure of how to feel about it.

“I’m not sure how I feel about this. I’ve been a fan for so long that I’m immediately suspicious of his intentions towards you,” a fan replied to her tweet. Cher said: “As we all know, I wasn’t born yesterday and what I know for sure… there are no guarantees. Any time you make a choice, you take a chance. I’ve always taken chances. It’s who I am.”

“It would be naïve not to question a 36-year-old’s motives and intentions. Our girl is smart but they don’t say love is blind for no reason at all,” said another Twitter user. To which, Cher replied: “Haven’t you got anything else to do? Let me explain. I don’t give a f—k what anyone thinks!”

Cher then answered her bashers in another tweet, saying, “Haters are gonna hate.”

Cher and Alexander met at the recently concluded Paris Fashion Week. The singer said her man treats her “like a queen.”

According to Page Six, Cher was married to Sonny Bono from 1964 to 1975 and Gregg Allman from 1975 to 1979.

Alexander, meanwhile, had a relationship with model and activist Amber Rose for three years. They welcomed a child in 2020 and decided to call it quits a year later.
