Lovi Poe joins the cast of the international indie film Bad Man!

In a report by Deadline, the action-comedy film is said to have been inspired by a true story and will center on a wild man state cop who arrives in a small town with a big meth problem. He then comes into conflict with a straight-laced local deputy but is forced to work with him to solve a murder mystery.

Poe will be sharing the screen with Seann William Scott, who rose to fame for his role in the American Pie franchise, as well as for the films Final Destination and Ice Age, and Johnny Simmons, who gained recognition for Jennifer's Body, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Expressing her excitement for the project, Poe wrote on her Instagram, "So happy to finally announce being part of Bad Man. Can’t wait to share more about this amazing film with an even more amazing cast!"

She also shared that the film was the reason why she was in Alabama in the US for some time in January earlier this year.

Many of her fellow celebrities took the time to congratulate her on her new project, including Jericho Rosales, Iza Calzado, Janno Gibbs, and Maggie Wilson, among others.

Bad Man will be helmed by Michael Diliberti for his feature directorial debut. He previously led the screenplay for the 2011 action-comedy movie 30 Minutes or Less, which starred Danny McBride, Jesse Eisenberg, Michael Pena, and Aziz Ansari.

This marks Poe's second international feature after her 2023 biopic The Chelsea Cowboy alongside Alex Pettyfer and Poppy Delevingne.
