Pauline Amelinckx looked back on her Miss Supranational journey after being crowned as this year’s first runner-up.

“All my love to you, Philippines,” the country's bet began her gratitude post on Instagram on Sunday, July 16.

“Ever since I stepped on our National Stage[,] it has been my greatest ambition to represent the PH internationally,” she said. “It has been my greatest honor and pleasure to turn that ambition into reality and finally have been able to attach Philippines to my name.”

She went on to share that she has been able to thrive during her entire journey as she highlighted the “ever-growing support” she received from the beginning.

“The unwavering and ever-growing support that I have felt on this entire journey has been humbling, moving, and life-changing,” she said.

While she was unable to bring home the highly coveted title for the Philippines, the 27-year-old beauty still considers her journey as a victory, stressing the dedication she has had from the start.

“This is not a one-woman journey and I have so many people to thank for where I am right now and the victory that we share. (It IS a victory),” she wrote.

“I am lowkey amazed at myself too. It felt so surreal to go through all the challenges and ups and downs of this journey and still have been able to make it this far and it’s all the training, hard work, heart work, and yes, DEDICATION that made this happen,” she added.

Pauline added that her personal growth has developed her inner strength, which has helped her “grow and bloom” and “see rejection as redirection.”

“It takes a great amount of dedication toward your own personal growth and belief in your own worth to see rejection as redirection,” she said.

“But one thing that I learnt over the course of this journey is that we can tap into our inner strength to grow and bloom where life plants us. It is up to YOU, and YOU are worth it!”

“I feel so blessed and filled with gratitude. Thank you for every single vote, view, like, comment, and prayer that you sent up for the Philippines in this journey. We even won the Suprachat challenge!! YOU made that possible. I cannot thank you all enough,” she added.

Pauline placed second at the Miss Supranational coronation night on Saturday, July 15 (Philippine time) in Poland. She also reigned supreme at the competition's Miss SupraChat challenge

The Boholana beauty joined the national pageant thrice before she was finally able to compete on the international stage for the first time.
