Andi Eigenmann expresses happiness over seeing her kids spend more time in nature
Andi Eigenmann said she finds fulfillment in seeing her children spend more time outside and appreciate nature.
“I know this varies for each parent, but I get that fulfilling feeling when all three of my kids initiate a good amount of time outdoors to play, or simply just to be outside,” the actress and content creator wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday, July 25.
Andi pointed out that nature has played a huge part in her life. Since it has "healed" her in more ways than one, she wants her kids to experience its beauty as well.
“Nature and being outdoors [have] been a big part of me since I was little, and it's healed me in so many ways. They deserve that too,” she said.
In a vlog titled “Nature Play with the kids - Siargaonon!,” the mom-of-three gave a glimpse of her usual play date with her kids—Ellie, Lilo, and Koa—as she highlighted the importance of coming up with “endless ideas” for the little ones to play around with nature.
"I just took my kids here to the beach to play with their playmates tapos feeling ko lang na magugustugan niyong makita kung ano 'yung itsura ng normal usual play dates nila dito sa baybay namo (at our shoreline)," Andi said.
In the video, Lilo and Koa can be seen pretend-playing in their “restaurant” with rocks, leaves, and sand as their food. They also set up a small nook as their kitchen with their playmates. Ellie was also there to join in the fun.
The kids can also be seen running around and climbing trees in some portions of her YouTube video.
“We didn’t really plan anything that’s why I'm just using my phone. We went here just to play but wala lang, I can’t take their cuteness, and I wanted to share,” Andi said.
“I’m so happy that my children can really spend a full day [to] enjoy and not complain,” she added. “Just having fun with what nature can offer.”

Andi moved to Siargao in 2017 and has since been sharing how fun and fulfilling it's been to live on the island with her fiance, champion surfer Philmar Alipayo. She often shares their journey as a family on their YouTube channel dubbed "Happy Islanders."
“Oh, the influence this place just gives me. Still always teary-eyed whenever I get to tell myself, this is home,” she wrote in an Instagram post about Siargao in May.
