BABYMONSTER is now back to with seven members.

YG Entertainment's founder and CEO Yang Hyun Suk announced via YouTube that Ahyeon has rejoined the new girl group after recovering from health issues.

"Fortunately, Ahyeon has fully recovered her health and as of today, Ahyeon is back at YG," he said.

Yang added that the South Korean girl group's mini album is being "re-recorded with all seven members, including Ahyeon." It was supposed to be released in April.

BABYMONSTER was supposed to debut as a seven-piece act but debuted in November 2023 with only six. Ahyeon at that time had to focus on her health.

“BABYMONSTER will be debuting as a six-member group with Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Haram, Rora, and Chiquita. After careful discussion, it was decided that Ahyeon, who prepared together [with BABYMONSTER], will be focusing on getting rest for the time being due to health reasons,” the agency said in a statement.

“Although we are saddened to be unable to introduce Ahyeon as a member of BABYMONSTER, we made this decision for the sake of the artist’s health. We will spare no support so that Ahyeon can recover fully and return in good health,” it added.
