Atasha Muhlach joins showbiz
Atasha Muhlach has stepped into the limelight.
The daughter of celebrity couple Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez is being managed by Viva Artists Agency—with stars like Anne Curtis, Sarah Geronimo, Julia Barretto, and Bela Padilla in its talent roster.
Charlene, who won Binibining Pilipinas in 1994, announced the news in an Instagram post, saying that Atasha has shown interest in different forms of creative expression since she was a kid.
“When you were growing up and whenever we would talk or do any form of art, whether it was painting, acting, doing school plays, doing commercials, singing, playing instruments, or dancing, your eyes would light up,” she began.
The former beauty queen recalled the time she and Aga knew that Atasha wanted to join showbiz one day. “I remember the first time you stepped on the stage at the age of 10 when you played the role of Brigitta in The Sound of Music. We knew that entertainment was something you always dreamed of and will be part of you someday.”
“Now that you are finished with your studies, you can now fully chase your dreams,” she wrote.
Charlene expressed her happiness for her daughter and noted that she will always be by her side no matter what. “We are so happy and proud to have a loving and caring daughter like you. Your mom and dad will forever support you.”
“We love you and share your excitement as you take your first step into the entertainment world. We are excited to see what the future has in store for you.”
“Atasha, my dear, may you continue to fly and spread your wings, my love. We love you so so so much and we will be cheering you on every step of the way,” she added.
In an interview with a separate publication early this year, Atasha said she is open to joining pageantry and the entertainment industry in the future. If she were an actress, she shared she would love to take part in a remake of 2022 film Kailangan Kita, which stars her dad alongside Claudine Barretto.
Atasha represented the Philippines at the Le Bal des Debutantes in 2022. The fashion and charity event is one of the most prestigious debutante balls in the world, bringing together 20 young females from the upper class residing in different parts of the globe.
