Rocco Nacino is now an honorary member of NAVSCOM
Rocco Nacino was recognized as an honorary member of the Naval Special Operations Command (NAVSOCOM) at the Sangley Point Naval Base in Cavite City.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Rocco said that he is now a reservist at the Philippine Navy.
“From Descendants of the Sun Ph, to joining the Philippine Navy as a reservist, to being an honorary member of our Naval Special Operations Command (Navy Seals),” Rocco captioned.
“Thankful for the many humbling lessons I have learned throughout the years,” he added.
Rocco said he received the Parangal sa Kapanalig ng Sandatahang Lakas Ng Pilipinas medal and ribbon.
"A huge honor today to be recognized for our efforts through the CMO activities with my unit, NRPAU. This will serve as motivation to me and my comrades to continue our efforts as reservists in serving our country," he said.
The actor then thanked his wife, Melissa Gohing, for being with him that day.
"Proud to be a Navy Seal. Para sa Pilipinas, Hooyahh!"
Melissa, likewise, congratulated her husband, saying she is always proud of him.
"You just don't post about it often but you've been doing CMO activities with your unit, NRPAU. I always admire you for always wanting to help other people."
