Heaven Peralejo is in seventh heaven after winning the Best Actress award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2023.

The actress, 23, took to Instagram to announce her "most unexpected victory yet," saying the win was an "absolute dream come true."

"Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this to be happening! I am truly so honored to have won the Country Winner for Best Actress in #NananahimikAngGabi and being nominated as the Philippine representative for the Asian Academy Awards @asianacademycreativeawards," she captioned.

Her lead film Nanahimik Ang Gabi, which is an official entry to the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival, also bagged several awards from one of the prestigious awards nights in Asia.

"But the blessings did not end just there. Our film also received recognition for Best Screenplay and Best Picture. It's an absolute dream come true, and I still can't believe it. This will forever be in my heart," added Heaven with a heart emoji.

Her celebrity friends and colleagues gave praise, including Iza Calzado, Karen Davila, Isabelle Daza, and more.

"Congratulations, Anak!!!" Iza replied to her co-actress.

"Wooow congrats @heavenperalejo" Karen Davila quipped with a heart emoji.

Aside from Heaven, fellow actor Mon Confiado bagged the Best Supporting Role awards in the male category.

Directed by Shugo Praico, Nanahimik ang Gabi tells the story of an ambitious young woman who spends the night in a mysterious isolated mansion with an older, married corrupt cop as his 'sugar baby.'

Meanwhile, the national winners of the award-giving are set to attend in Singapore on December 7 this year.

Heaven is a television personality who came to prominence from Pinoy Big Brother in 2016. She is known for her acting roles in Starla, Familia Blondina, and recently, the adapted series The Rain in Espanya.
