Celebs go for the Logomania trend in monogrammed swimsuits

By Camille Santiago Published Apr 12, 2022 5:48 pm

Back in the late '90s to the early 2000s, monogram fashion was the rage. From shoes to bags and tracksuits and caps, logos were just about everywhere. While some consider it a fashion faux pas, others live for it—! Two decades later, the logomania trend is back, and celebrities are taking theirs for a dip.

Lately, we've been seeing an influx of our favorite stylistas in heavily branded swimsuits when out on vacation.

Heart Evangelista, who recently posted a longsleeved backless bikini by Alaïa, also shared a photo of herself wearing a monogrammed Louis Vuitton monokini. While another 'budol queen', Marian Rivera, also brought out her Louis Vuitton to the beach.

So, if you have pesos to spare (or just here to browse), take some tips from the stars who've hopped on the monogrammed swimsuit trend.

Heart Evangelista

If Heart can eat Chanel fries, what more own a designer swimsuit, right? In one photo, Heart was radiating in her white monogrammed one-piece by Louis Vuitton.

Marian Rivera

Queen Marian, on the other hand, also opted for a Louis Vuitton suit. She's wearing the Mahina Monogram One-piece Swimsuit which costs $1,799 (P93,754).

In another photo, Marian dons the double F logo by Fendi as the sun beautifully reflects on her skin. She's wearing the Fendi Brown Lycra swimsuit that sells for $530 (P27,620).

Sarah Lahbati went on a zen trip to The Farm at San Benito and decided to bring out the Louis Vuitton monokini that she got from Curated Luxe.

Nope, Rei Germar's swimsuit and the chair are not matching! Here, the vlogger is seen wearing the LV Night Bikini Top while sipping her drink in Phuket. She paired her top with white high waisted shorts and minimal jewelry.

A month later, in Dubai, Rei wears the Louis Vuitton Damier Azur Short-Sleeved Swimsuit to a yacht cruise.

Vern Enciso

If you want something that's not too in-your-face, check out Vern Enciso's very classy One-Piece Dior Oblique Swimsuit, which she wore to Dubai. We especially love the V-neck and crisscross detail at the back. It's price is $1,050 (P54,000).

Verniece Enciso

Verniece Enciso poses in the yacht in head-to-toe designer label wearing Vetements one-piece, Jacquemus Le Chiquito bag, and Gucci slides. Style tip: puse a long-sleeved polo as a cover-up.
