Remember those “phone cord" hair ties we used to buy? Bottega Veneta's selling those for about $480-$2,000

Those plastic, telephone cord–like elastics are making a comeback—but not as a hair accessory, but as jewelry.

That's right, Bottega Veneta dropped their latest collection of accessories that bear strong resemblance to the phone cords we have at home, and some millennials couldn't help but compare it with the hair tie that were popularized in the early 2000s. Phone cord hair ties, coiled hair ties, spiral hair ties—whatever you call it, you know what we're talking about.

These accessories by the Italian luxury fashion house are made with enamel-coated sterling silver in a form of a coiled necklace, bracelet, ring, and earrings, and they range from US$480 to US$2,000! (PS. those hair ties are sold for as low as P7 only each!)

The necklace sells for US$2,000 and is available in three colors: "Bianco," "Lavender" or "Grass." All necklaces are coated with enamel sterling silver, and feature a hook to fasten the accessory around your neck.

The ring, obviously, is a smaller version of the necklace. It is priced at US$480, available in the mentioned colors above, and comes in five sizes.

The bracelet, however, is styled as a cuff—although if you look at it, it doesn't have much difference compared to the coiled hair ties we put on our wrists when we aren’t wearing them in our hair. It retails at US$1,200 per piece and comes in "Bianco," "Lavender" or "Grass" as well.

Lastly, Bottega Veneta also came up with two kinds of coiled earrings—one is a hoop-style that features sterling silver beads similar to their floral necklace collection, US$1,250; and another is a push-back style hoop earrings that costs US$800.
