Want to dive headfirst into the art of drag? There's an upcoming online class that will teach you all about the basics—from makeup to wigs and outfits—and the instructor is not other than RuPaul's Drag Race all-star Manila Luzon!

Nas Academy is set to launch Manila's School of Drag, a seven-day program where you can learn about the origins of the art form, give you tips on makeup, fashion, wigs, and help you develop stage presence.

Through these classes, you'll also meet fellow drag enthusiasts and talk to the elusive Filipina drag queen herself.

"Drag is not just about dressing up and putting on makeup, it's a transformation! A transformation to your more fabulous self. It allows you to explore who you are unapologetically," Manila said in a teaser video.

Meet your teacher

As you may know, Manila has competed three times on RuPaul's Drag Race but failed to snag the crown. She stood out from her competition with her iconic outfits like her Big Bird costume, pineapple dress, and her signature black and blonde wig.

On top of that, this Filipino-American drag artist will be hosting a local drag reality show called Drag Den.

“My Filipino heritage is always present in my drag, just look at my drag name, Manila Luzon. I’ve championed for Filipino representation on the world stages of drag. And now with Nas Academy I have the opportunity to inspire more Filipinos to explore their self-expression through the art form,” she said in a statement.

Manila's School of Drag is opening on April 9 for P3,549 on Nas Academy.
