Bretman Rock is ‘Playboy’ magazine’s digital cover for October 2021

Social media star Bretman Rock is on a roll with a digital magazine cover and a brand collaboration.

Playboy magazine announced on social media that its digital cover for October 2021 is Bretman “Da Baddest” Rock, whose images were shot by fashion photographer Brian Ziff.

“It’s Bretman, b**ch,” the caption of the post read.

Included in the post were photos of the digital cover where the 23-year-old social media rock star flaunts his sexy, toned body in the iconic Playboy Bunny suit complete with satin bunny ears, bow tie and Versace platforms.

According to Playboy, the bespoke bunny suit is custom-made and had-tailored to each and every Playboy Bunny.

Bretman joins the likes of Kate Moss, Dolly Parton and Kylie Jenner, who also donned the iconic Playboy Bunny suit on their cover of the magazine.

“For Playboy to have a male on the cover is a huge deal for the LGBT community, for my brown people community and it’s all so surreal,” Bretman told Playboy. “A total ‘is this even fucking happening right now?’ Type of vibe. And I’m so pretty.”

Bretman is not the first man who graced the cover of the Playboy magazine solo. With the exception of its late founder Hugh Hefner, Puerto Rican rapper and songwriter Bad Bunny was the first man to appear solo on the magazine’s cover for its July 2020 issue.

In line with its cover reveal, the company is bringing back its top-selling Bretman Rock x Playboy T-shirt collection (originally released for Pride Month) for a limited time.

The magazine, which catapulted to fame with its feature of nude images of women, halted its print issues in 2020 but continues to publish its photo shoots and features online.

The publication has also been getting into diversity and inclusivity as it recently had history-making features in its international covers, including featuring the first ever European plus-size model, Hayley Hasselhoff, for Playboy Germany’s April 2021 issue; and the first transgender woman cover of Playboy Mexico, Victoria Volkova, for its November-December 2020 issue.

Is there anything that Bretman Rock can’t do nowadays?

“Da Baddest” star recently collaborated with footwear brand Crocs for a limited-edition five-pack Jibbitz charms.

The charms were inspired by Bretman’s favorite things—crystals, stars, and reflective materials. Loyal fans easily spotted Bretman’s iconic logo and turtle charms.

Fans who wished to purchase the exclusive charms, which were meant to jazz up one’s Crocs, only had a few days to purchase them. As of this writing, the charms are sold out according to Crocs’ website.

Bretman has been wearing Crocs for a while now. He is even seen in some of his vlogs and social media posts wearing them.
