The Miss Universe 2022 candidates wowed in their stunning costumes at the Joan of Arc parade—an annual celebration held every Jan. 6 to honor St. Joan of Arc, the patroness of soldiers and of France.
On Sunday, Jan. 8, the Miss Universe organization shared a series of photos from the night's festivities, showing the lovely ensembles of various delegates such as Miss Aruba, Miss Italy, Miss Venezuela, Miss Puerto Rico, Miss Nepal, Miss Saint Lucia, Miss Mauritius, Miss Seychelles, Miss Nigeria, Miss Indonesia, Miss USA, and Miss Belgium.
The beauty queens marked the significant event in national costumes that were all meticulously crafted by their respective designers.

The event took place just a few days after their arrival in New Orleans, where the 71st Miss Universe competition will be held.
The Miss Universe 2022 coronation night is slated for Sunday, Jan. 15 at 9:00 a.m., with Philippine bet Celeste Cortesi and 85 other delegates vying for the highly coveted crown.
Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo and TV personality Jeannie Mai Jenkins are set to host the show, while Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Access Hollywood correspondent Zuri Hall will serve as backstage commentators.
It will be streamed live on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Metro Channel, and iWantTFC from the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Same-day replays will also be available at 10:30 p.m. on the same channels.
