The search for the next set of Binibinis is on!

The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) has officially opened the search for its next batch of queens for the 2022 pageant.

“Binibining Pilipinas 2022 is set to crown a new batch of young and empowered queens who will promote beauty and advocacy on the beauty pageant stage,” BPCI said in its official statement posted on Facebook.

The BPCI is accepting new queens from women who are “born with the anatomy of a female.” Applicants must also be single women, “have never been married,” and “have neither given birth to a child nor (is) I a parent.”

The organization also reminded that only applicants who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and have been boosted will be accepted. A proof of vaccination must be submitted.

Aspiring queens can download and fill out the application form which can be found on its official website. The accomplished forms can be sent to [email protected] or to the BPCI Secretariat at Smart Araneta Coliseum’s South Gate Entrance.

The BPCI will accept applications until April 8.

Just like last year, four titles are at stake in Binibining Pilipinas including Miss International, Miss Globe, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss Grand International.

Cinderella Obeñita was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2021, while Maureen Montagne was named Miss Globe 2021. On the other hand, Samantha Panlilio ended her Miss Grand International journey after she failed to advance to the top 20.

Meanwhile, Binibining Pilipinas International Hannah Arnold announced that she will be focusing on her advocacy after the Miss International organization canceled its 2021 pageant.
