Dumpster finds? Kanye West's Yeezy Gap clothes are being displayed in trash bags
Is trash really the latest fashion trend?
After we saw Balenciaga launch a nearly P100,000 garbage pouch, Gap has made the rounds online for its unique way of displaying one of its new collections. Instead of hanging the latest Yeezy x Gap clothes on hangers, the designer garments are found in giant trash bags scattered around the store.
One user in New York showed the display on Twitter, adding Ye, aka Kanye West, "got mad" when the shop hung the clothes. "This is how he wanted it," the netizen said.
In addition to the low-effort visual merchandising, the user said sales associates "won't help" shoppers find their size, too. "You just have to dig through everything."

Reactions to the trashy display are mixed, with some people slamming Ye for using the "homeless as his 'fashion muses.'"
"They no longer see the plight of people, they don't see humans that are suffering, they see opportunities to be 'edgy' and profit from it. It's disgusting," one user wrote.
The Yeezy Gap collection includes hoodies selling for P15,000, cargo pants for P14,000, long sleeve tees for P8,700, tank tops for P5,000, and parkas for P22,000. These are pretty pricey garments to just be put into trash bags on the floor, don't you think?
