As many schools are yet to start their face-to-face classes in few weeks' time, why not think of ways to start yours in style?

From preppy and geeky to minimalist, dress codes are not a hindrance to those who like to be creative with their outfits. You can still look cute while wearing skirts below the knees and rock a simple top with smart layering and accessories. All you need is some inspiration to make you stand out on campus.

Need help leveling up your campus lookbook? Here are some OOTDs served by your favorite local and international stars and where you can cop their ‘fits.

Kathryn Bernardo

Sweater + Checkered vest + Flared skirt

If you’ve been dreaming of entering the campus while embodying Blair Waldorf’s style from the Gossip Girl, you can take inspiration from Kathryn Bernardo’s chic look as your wardrobe theme. If your university happens to have a dress code, make sure to choose a skirt that falls in line with the rules or replace it with some jeans. If you want to switch up the outfit, you can also replace the sweater with a white collared shirt.

Need affordable finds to get this look? You can get a similar knitted vest from Shopee and a preppy skirt from H&M.

Strut into the campus with this simple but flattering look from Alexa Ilacad, which you can definitely rock with a pair of comfortable white sneakers. This type of vintage-style dress is perfect for keeping it comfortable and casual without being too flashy in the length and colors.

You can cop the look by getting your hands on similar dresses from Shopee and H&M, and find a selection of chic bags from Lazada.

 Kyline Alcantara

Army green jumpsuit + Converse

If you want to dress up the fun and easy way, consider getting a jumpsuit similar to Kapuso star Kyline Alcantara. The outfit is easy to pair with some high-cut shoes and can look a lot cooler when you cuff the jeans to show off your kicks while giving the illusion of being taller.

If you want to cop Alcantara’s look, get your hands on Converse’s classic high-cut shoes and H&M's jumpsuit.

What’s the best way to make a simple dress look chic and unique? Layering! Switch up the way you wear your dresses according to Ramirez’s look which consists of a slip dress over a simple white top. Since some campus will have you walking from one place to another, you can pair the outfit with some sneakers or boots. You may also opt to wear a regular white shirt for added comfort in case the tropical weather is too hot for a turtle neck.

Need help finding the perfect dress for this outfit? You can find a similar floral slip dress from Shopee or consider getting one without a pattern from H&M.

Jennie Kim

If you’re up to serving on campus with just as much swag, consider getting some cargo pants from ukay-ukays or Shopee
