Sarah Geronimo wowed her fans with her shortest hairstyle yet at a virtual concert held early this week, and as per her hairdresser-slash-friend, it’s exactly what she wanted for a long time.
In an exclusive interview with PhilSTAR L!FE, Celeste Tuviera—whose clientele includes Iza Calzado-Wintle, Bea Alonzo, and Maine Mendoza, among others—briefly shared the story behind the pop singer’s wonderfully surprising hair chop.
“She has been thinking about going quite short and has been sending me different photos and pegs,” she said. “But we basically collaborated on getting it to the length that we both felt would work best for her.”
Celeste is glad not only because Sarah G has finally found the right time to do it, but also because she "entrusted me with this new look." How did her client feel about her final ‘do? Just as happy as her Popsters, as we guessed. “She was giddy like a kid at a candy store,” recalled Celeste.
If you’re looking to rock a pixie cut like the iconic star, her hairstylist RJ dela Cruz gave a short but important tip: “Just blow-dry and then make sure to add some dry wax for texture.”
