Jenny Ramp of Tarlac stunned in a fauna costume inspired by the Philippine hanging parrot at the Miss Earth 2022 preliminaries.

At the recently concluded Fauna Outfit Competition, the Filipina beauty struck some poses as she represented the “colasisi,” which has been categorized as critically endangered—meaning, it’s “facing an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild in the immediate future”—according to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Much like the kulasisi, her green outfit designed by Kayvan Salazar featured pops of color like yellow, orange, blue, and purple that made her shine even brighter.

Held virtually on Saturday, Oct. 29, the judges at the preliminary competition included international costume designers Aviad Arik Hermana, Emmanuel Abanobi Prince, Raven Ong, and Will Franco.

According to the organization, the audience can also take part in the judging process by reacting, liking, and sharing the Fauna Outfit photos of this year's Miss Earth delegates posted on the pageant's official Facebook page. "Your points will be added to the expert judges’ scores," they said.

The winner of the Fauna Outfit Competition will be announced at the coronation night slated for Nov. 29 at Cove Manila in Okada, Parañaque City, where Ramp is hoping to take home the fifth Miss Earth crown for the Philippines.
