LinkedIn Philippines has released its annual Top Companies list that offers stability in the changing world of work.
According to the professional networking website, the list was based on seven “critical elements of career progression” including the “ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity, and spread of educational backgrounds.”
First on the list is telco company Smart Communications, followed by Accenture, Shell, Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company (Metrobank), and Emerson.
Rounding up the list are BDO Unibank, Manila Water, Nestle, WPP, Philippine General Hospital, Insular Life Assurance Company Ltd., Robinsons Bank Corporation, San Miguel Corporation, DXC Technology, and Cognizant, respectively.
LinkedIn News managing editor Satoshi Ebitani said this year’s list “celebrates companies invested in the growth and well-being” of its employees.
“With dedicated programs and initiatives to support career progression and the growing need for work-life balance, these companies are leading the charge for long-term success in the workforce,” Ebitani added.
Some of the noteworthy benefits that companies included in the top 15 offer are mental health programs, upskilling opportunities, and training programs, among others.
According to LinkedIn PH, Smart has committed to ensuring the mental health of its employees through its “Mind Your Health” program.
Accenture, on the other hand, developed its “Near-Hire Training program” for “non-college job applicants” with the potential to meet the “entry-level requirements.”
