Angelica Panganiban, Meryll Soriano start the New Year with revelations of new romance
There’s no better way to welcome the New Year by celebrating it with someone you love.
Two celebrities took that to heart by revealing their new romance to their followers on social media as we welcomed 2021.
In an Instagram post on Friday, January 1, Angelica Panganiban revealed she is in a relationship by posting a photo of herself kissing her boyfriend.
“Kung isa kang pelikuka, sana,, wala kang ending,” she wrote on the post’s caption.
Angelica, however, did not give the identity of her new boyfriend.
Angelica has been in a number of high profile celebrity relationships and breakups in the past. Her past boyfriends include John Lloyd Cruz, Derek Ramsay, and Carlo Aquino.
Meryll Soriano, too, took to social media on Friday to reveal her rekindled romance with actor Joem Bascon.
In an Instagram post, Meryll can be seen with her son Elijah Palanca, a newborn baby, and Joem.
The caption for her post goes: “May this year be kinder to us all. May we all find peace, joy and love. New year, new hopes, new positive outcomes. Happy New Year from our family to yours!”
The post seems to be a confirmation of rumors since late last year that Meryll and Joem are dating again.
Joem and Meryll were in a relationship almost a decade ago but broke up after more than a year of being together. The two have remained good friends.
Rumors of the two getting back together surfaced late last year, after Joem worked with Meryll in the 2019 movie Culion and after his split with vlogger Crisha Uy, his girlfriend for over eight years.
