This non-government organization offers free contraceptives for Filipino women

Everyone should have access to safe and effective contraceptive methods. Women, in particular, should know their different options when it comes to contraceptives and preventing unwanted pregnancies.

With more women expressing their need for sexual and reproductive rights and health services in the Philippines, Likhaan Center for Women's Health was born. The non-profit organization, established in 1995, provides women with a wide range of contraceptives: birth control pills, condoms, injectables, implants, copper IUDs, and more. Some clinics also provide services like cervical cancer screening, antenatal care, and birthing services.

The center also accommodates counseling, screening and testing for sexually transmitted infections (STI) and HIV, and reproductive health information for adolescents. They also accept teleconsultations at bit.ly/telikhaan.

Best of all, Likhaan provides these services for free with assured confidentiality, making contraceptives and reproductive health services accessible to Filipino women.

They have clinics located in Quezon City, Pasay, Navotas, Manila, Bulacan, and Eastern Samar. Currently, their center in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan requires clients to request an appointment in advance, but all the rest accept walk-ins and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
