'I'm sure yours looks a lot better than mine': Bill Gates shares old resume from 1974

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is one of the last people you would think would need a resume—but he still keeps a copy of one handy. The tech billionaire dug up his almost five-decade-old CV and shared it for all the world to see.

"Whether you're a recent grad or a college dropout, I'm sure your resume looks a lot better than mine did 48 years ago," Gates wrote on LinkedIn.

We're not so sure about the better part because not everyone's a Harvard student. Despite being just a freshman at the university, Gates already had experience in many computer and programming languages of the time.

He also listed the courses he took, including Operating Systems Structure, Data Base Management, Compiler Construction, and Computer Graphics—for which he got all A's.

And while he was a student, Gates was already partnering with Paul G. Allen who would later create Microsoft with him.

What also caught most people's attention with the resume is the personal data. Gates said he was 5'10" and weighed just 130 lbs, had no restrictions with locations, and had a salary of $12,000.

Fast forward to 1975, Gates would drop out of Harvard to create Microsoft with Allen in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Now, the Microsoft co-founder is worth $124.1 billion and is the fourth richest man in the world.
