11-year-old who earns over P7 million a month is set to ‘semi-retire’ for school

An 11-year-old entrepreneur is set to “semi-retire” soon so she can focus on her studies. She’s been earning over $132,000 (over P7 million) a month from her two successful businesses, which means she could retire at 15 years old as a multi-millionaire.

Mompreneur Roxy Jacenko shared the news about her daughter Pixie Curtis in a recent interview with a media outlet in Australia, saying that taking a step back would help her prepare for high school better.

“Pixie has decided to hang her online toy store shoes up to focus on her impending entry into high school,” she revealed.

According to Roxy, it was a family decision that took them a while to agree on. “Over the past few months, we have been discussing the business plans going forward as a family and decided that while it has been an amazing journey starting some three years ago, it was time to refocus with high school just around the corner,” she explained.

With the help of her mom, Pixie has been on top of two successful business ventures: toy company Pixie’s Pix, which sold out all its products two days after its 2021 launch, as well as Pixie’s Bows that offers hair accessories, jewelry, and fidget toys, among other kiddie products. Australian media reported that Pixie “has amassed a multi-million dollar empire” from both.

Roxy said the online store for Pixie’s Pix will still be up, but “it will go back to how it began in 2011—as the best destination for children’s hair accessories and hair bows known as Pixie’s Bows.” She added that they “will continue to manage (it) together, but with a lot less time and pressure for Pixie.”

As the boss of her companies, Pixie has been able to afford various luxuries, including lavish birthday parties and a Mercedes Benz GI, “even though she’s years off being able to drive it.”

In a previous interview, Roxy pointed out that despite Pixie’s incredible success as a business owner, the latter remains to be “a polite, caring, and grounded young girl.” This is why they continue to extend a helping hand to those in need through monetary donations to various charities.
