Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are engaged—and they ‘drank each other’s blood’ after the proposal
Wedding bells are ringing for Megan and Machine Gun!
Jennifer’s Body star Megan Fox and her rockstar partner Machine Gun Kelly are engaged, the actress announced on Instagram.
According to Fox, Kelly popped the question on Tuesday, Jan. 11, sharing a heartfelt video documenting their engagement.
“In July of 2020, we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma,” Fox wrote.
The actress couldn’t hide her bliss as she looked back on her relationship with the rockstar. “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him.”
“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes,” Fox said.
Fox said they even “drank each other’s blood,” to celebrate their engagement.
In a separate post, Kelly revealed that he designed Fox’s engagement ring with British jewelry designer Stephen Webster. The actress’ ring includes an emerald and diamond, which are their respective birthstones.
“Beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me… set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love,” Kelly said.
Celebrities and fashion models Kourtney Kardashian, Christine Quinn, Saory Cardoso, and Natalie Gal congratulated the couple on their upcoming marriage.
Fox and Kelly were confirmed to be in a relationship in June 2020.
