Is Kate Jagdon's choice of music in her latest IG story a response to ex-GF Bea Gomez's searing breakup post?

Following Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Bea Gomez's lengthy message explaining her breakup, the beauty queen's ex-girlfriend has kept silent about the post. But a recent IG story from the DJ/entrepreneur, which was set to the tune of Drake's Fair Trade, seems to have lyrics that's relevant to the issue.

On Feb. 17, Jagdon shared a photo of an upcoming event that she'll be DJing at, with Drake's Fair Trade as its background music. The lyrics were set to appear onscreen.

"I still see you at the top and they misunderstood me, I hold no resentment in my heart, that's that maturity," the section of the song featured in the post goes.

In Fair Trade, Drake sings about shedding relationships and friendships in exchange for peace.

A day before, Gomez posted about their breakup, saying that while they were still together, Jagdon had been "entertaining" other people while she was competing in MUPH.

"After a series of confrontations I learned that she had already been entertaining a person named 'Adam' for over a year during our relationship," she shared. "She's made out with someone, made a move on other girls, and have been going out more often than usual that there were even times she wouldn't come home for days."

Jagdon confirmed their split in November 2021 but kept details about it private. The two were together for almost seven years.

The Cebuana beauty noted that she was "antagonized," with Jagdon receiving more sympathy amid their breakup.

However, she ended the post saying she wishes the best for the two of them.

While the DJ has not directly responded to Gomez's statements about their relationship, her latest IG story's background music could be interpreted as a cryptic message.
