A British newlywed decided to make her wedding day a memorable one by incorporating her love for pole dancing.

In a report by Caters News Service carried by The New York Post, Katt Channon from Hertfordshire, England tied the knot with the love of her life Tom in an intimate ceremony, which turned a bit wild during the reception when Channon had her first dance in a pole together with her bridesmaids.

The 29-year-old bride told the news outlet that pole dancing has always been close to her heart, having taken up the skill in 2013 when she joined a society at her university to make new friends while also getting some exercise.

In a now-viral TikTok video with more than five million views, Channon could be seen having a blast as she and her bridesmaids climbed the pole together and posed for some pictures in their lovely gowns.

"Even in my dress, I thought I’d still go for and get up there. It was also amazing to see old friends from [my university], where my love of pole started all up there, too," Channon recalled.

She shared that Tom was fully supportive of her pole dancing endeavors.

"My husband Tom has always been supportive of my pole dancing and our guests said the pole gave it our signature stamp on the day. When I first suggested doing it, Tom said to me that it wouldn't be our wedding without having a pole at the reception—I totally agree," Channon said.

Despite being aware of her love for the sport, Channon's wedding guests were still surprised that she was able to bring the pole to their reception. But still, they were left in awe and even wanted to try dancing on the pole, too.

Describing her big day, Channon said, "It really was magical from start to finish, and it was the best day of my life."
