Weekend hangs: Book fairs, coffee expos, and more amazing events to kickstart June

Summer season is almost over (for some) but that doesn't make fun and creativity end.

In the city, the Philippine Book Festival—the biggest one yet—is taking place, with live performances, talks and workshops. There is also a coffee expo, where you can sample coffee from all over the country and learn about the latest brewing techniques. And if you're looking for fun activities, there's an upcoming concert later this week plus a culminating event hosted by an electronics brand.

Philippine Book Festival

Calling all bookworms! Gather at the Philippine Book Festival at the World Trade Center this June 2-4. This three-day event is an initiative of the National Book Development (NBDB) and the National Library of the Philippines that is open to the public with the goal to connect readers and authors through exciting workshops and amazing exhibits.

Philippine Coffee Expo 

You can spice up your reading and storytelling with a nice cup of coffee. Philippine Coffee Expo 2023 is brewing some delicious on-the-go drinks while offering a whirlwind of excitement through plenary talks, and coffee-related extravaganza with other cafe lovers like you.

Samsung’s Epic After Hours event

Samsung invites you to experience the Galaxy S23 series’ features through Samsung's Epic After Hours event, which has experiential booths, stunning art installations, and fantastic activities.

Get to meet the country’s top content creators including TV personality and vlogger Wil Dasovich, photojournalist Jilson Tiu, Millennial director Pepe Diokno, and many more. 

The event runs from May 25 to June 3, with a culminating event happening on the last day at the Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater, BGC at 5:30 p.m. Don't miss the chance to win the latest Galaxy devices by exploring each booth and completing the tasks in your passport.

Walk Beyond concert launch
