Filipino couple Jervin and Anjanette Minor is definite proof that true love will take you to greater heights, or rather, global stages.

The dancing tandem, collectively known as Power Duo, has recently swung their way to the grand finals of America's Got Talent: All Stars following their breathtaking performance in the show's Jan. 23 episode.

The couple captured the hearts of judges Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Simon Cowell as they performed synchronized high-flying acrobats and aerial moves to Calum Scott's "You are the Reason." This is in addition to their romantic love story, which the couple also narrated in the episode.

All that led the show's Superfans to vote for them into the finals along with Avery Dixon, Aidan Bryant, and the Bello Sisters. The Superfans-voted finalists will be advancing to the next round along with Golden Buzzers Light Balance Kids, Detroit Youth Choir, Mike E. Winfield, and Aidan McCann.

Power Duo's feat was made even sweeter with Calum Scott thanking the couple for using his song for their performance. "Such a talented wonderful couple. Thank you for using my music to express your art!!" the British singer-songwriter tweeted on Jan. 24.

Jervin and Anjanette's journey to America's Got Talent: All Stars began when they were hailed champions of the fifth season of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2016.

While their routines have been a reflection of their powerful chemistry, the couple revealed not getting along when they first met.

"Our dance teacher put us together because we have the combination of dance floor and aerial," they said in an interview with America's Got Talent.

"First, we always argued and we didn't understand each other, and we didn't actually have chemistry," Jervin continued. "But we keep on training, we [got] to know each other, and our connection [became] more intense."

The dancers' admiration for each other grew to a great extent, so much so that Jervin admitted he is courting Anjanette in front of Pilipinas Got Talent's judges and live audience.

Three years later, in 2019, Power Duo joined Asia's Got Talent and finished their journey in the Top 3, behind winner Eric Chien and runner-up Yaashwin Sarawanan.

"After that, everything changed. We were able to perform full-time," Anjanette continued. She and Jervin tied the knot in 2021 and welcomed their son Javin in June of the same year.
