Miss Universe PH announces Top 3 contestants of swimsuit challenge; Taguig's Ma. Katrina Llegado wins
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPH) on March 20 unveiled the winners of its swimsuit challenge after releasing the sizzling photos of its 49 contestants.
"The Universe has decided!" the MUPH said in a post. "Congratulations to the #MUPH2022SwimsuitChallenge Top 3!"
Taguig's Ma. Katrina Llegado emerged on top of the pageant hopefuls who showed off their beach-ready bods in their hometowns.
Llegado flaunted her slim figure in a golden one-piece swimsuit while on a gondola at the Venice Grand Canal Mall.
Rounding out the trio are Michelle Marquez Dee of Makati and Celeste Cortesi of Pasay.
Dee wore a pink one-piece showcasing her legs, while Cortesi's red two-piece accentuated her fair complexion.
The Top 3 were chosen based on votes from the public and the judges, it added.
They're no strangers to international pageants as they've had their respective stints before.
Llegado placed fifth at the Reina Hispanoamerica 2019, Dee was Top 12 at Miss World 2019, while Cortesi finished eighth at Miss Earth 2018.
The Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night will be held on April 30 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
