Typhoon Ulysses: Here's how to get help and give help

Typhoon Ulysses weakened on Thursday morning as it moved to leave Luzon, but not after leaving record amounts of rainfall that displaced thousands of families in Central Luzon and parts of Metro Manila.

For those still needing rescue, here are the hotline numbers of relevant government agenices that affected or concerned residents could call.

Here are also the numbers of some local government agencies whose areas have been affected by the storm.

Residents appealing for help are also using the hashtag #RescuePH, which has been trending today.

For those looking for ways to donate to or help the victims of the storm here are a few agencies you could contact.

The Alagang Kapatid Foundation of TV5 is now accepting donations.

The news website Rappler, meanwhile, is also calling out for volunteers to assist in tracking and verifying rescue calls.
