'Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train' to be streamed for free
Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train is slated for free online streaming starting through the iQiyi app on June 16, 11 AM Philippine time.
The streaming platform iQiyi Philippines said that the movie will be accessible for free in the Philippines and other Southeast Asian countries.
The movie is a direct sequel to the 2019 anime television series and it covers the events of the Mugen Train story arc. It is the highest-grossing film in Japan's box office history after it earned 40 billion yen (P17 billion) in ticket sales.
The main cast and staff under the animated series reprised their roles for the movie.
It is animated by Ufotable and directed by Haruo Sotozaki. Akira Matushima serves as the character designer while Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina composed the anime’s music composition. LiSA, who sang the famous opening song of Demon Slayer, “Gurenge”, also returns to perform the theme song of the film titled “Homura”
