PUP announces guidelines on PUPCET applications for 2024-2025

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) has announced the guidelines on the applications for the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET) for the Academic Year (AY) 2024-2025.

The upcoming exam will be the university's first in-person PUPCET after its cancellation because of the pandemic for academic years 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024.

Students may begin to send their applications starting Nov. 27, 2023.

According to its website, online registration and application shall be done strictly by the applicant.

Applicant must prepare their 2x2 inch colored photo with a name tag and Grade 11 report card showing their complete name, Learner's Reference Number (LRN), and General Weighted Average (GWA) for the first semester and second semester.

In addition, applicants must fill out an application form and get a copy of their ePermit on PUP iApply. Here's how:

  • Go to the PUP iApply and read the information provided.
  • Click Apply Now. This will take you to PUP iApply.
  • Click Register Here to create your account.
  • Read the service agreement and click the I have read... button then, on the next page, select PUPCET to begin creating an account.
  • Answer the prequalification questions to determine if you qualify for PUPCET, then click Next.
  • Fill up the registration form. Type or select the required information in the form.
  • Click Submit to create your account and sign in again.
  • Upon successful signing in, you will be taken to the PUP iApply Applicant's page where you will complete your application form, and submit it for evaluation by the University Admission and Registration Services

Once your online application is finalized, you can download and print your ePermit. This printed ePermit shall be presented on your scheduled examination date.

The university said that you will be able to download and print your ePermit in 6 to 10 working days after finalizing your application. Meanwhile, the dates for the exams are yet to be announced.
