Woman makes husband’s killer fall in love with her, turns him over to authorities years later

A woman made her husband’s killer fall in love with her for years—only to get murder evidence and have him arrested by authorities later on.

According to reports, the killer named Ruben Dario Viloria Barrios posed as a busy trader who pretended to love going to church and worshipping God during his free time.

For years, he went by the name “Juancho” and kept a low profile as he “coordinated the shipment of narcotics to Central America and from there to the United States, through ‘Go Fast’ type speedboats, with a capacity of monthly shipment of approximately 1.5 tons of cocaine." He was also behind the killings and kidnappings of their competitors in the process.

The Colombian widow’s beau later discovered Ruben’s involvement in the crimes, which prompted the latter to order his assassination.

Determined to avenge her husband’s death, the woman made the smart move of getting in touch with Juancho to know him on a deeper level and make him fall in love with her.

Her years-long plan worked. Juancho eventually learned to trust her so much that he opened up to her not just about his feelings, but also about his illegal acts.

After gathering enough evidence for his crimes, the woman submitted a tip to the police and informed them about Juancho’s upcoming meeting with other criminals at a secret place. Authorities were able to capture him that day.

Juancho has been sentenced to a total of 22 years in prison.
