Chris Brown has been sued for allegedly assaulting a music producer at a club in London earlier this year.

As stated in court documents obtained by Page Six, Amadou “Abe” Diaw claimed that Brown beat him "over the head" with a tequila bottle, and then "ruthlessly stomped" and kicked him on his nape, which made him unconscious for half a minute.

Diaw alleged that the incident "inflicted severe and lasting injuries" on him, including lacerations on his head and torn ligaments in his leg. He also claimed that it caused him "serious and permanent emotional distress and trauma."

Page Six reported that Diaw is seeking damages and requests a trial by jury.

Prior to this incident, Brown beat up Rihanna when they were in a relationship in 2009. According to the entertainment outlet, he pleaded guilty before the court and was given five years probation and 180 days of community labor.

Page Six said his violent behavior continued in the years that followed. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and spent two days in Columbia prison in 2014. Two years later, he was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. His ex-girlfriend also had a restraining order against him in 2017, which lasted for five years.

Brown also allegedly got into a violent fight with Usher in May, which began when the latter "tried to deescalate" Brown's fight with singer Teyana Taylor during his birthday party. Sources narrated that Usher went after the two behind a “string of charter buses that were parked in the lot.” Shortly after, he was seen leaving the place with “a bloody nose.”
