Jillian Robredo attended her baccalaureate at New York University in the renowned school’s purple gown, which she accentuated with elements showing “what matters most.”

Vice President Leni Robredo had a “proud mom” moment on Instagram on Tuesday, May 17, as she shared a photo of her daughter reaching another milestone in her life.

“NYU Baccalaureate today. Jillian wearing what matters most – a pendant containing Papa’s ashes, her graduation stole with the colors of the Philippine flag, and her Rosas pin,” she wrote in the caption.

The soon-to-be NYU graduate made it a point to remember her late father—former Interior secretary Jesse Robredo, who passed away in a plane crash back in 2012—with her necklace as she marked this momentous affair.

Rosas, meanwhile, is an ode to her mother’s campaign trademark for the Halalan 2022 which stood for "love, hope, and a better life.”

Last but not the least, Jill showed her love for the country with her stole.

The youngest Robredo was accompanied by her mom as well as her sisters Aika and Tricia in her college baccalaureate. She is set to graduate today, May 18 after completing a double degree in economics and mathematics.
