Heads up, aspiring green archers! DLSU is opening college admissions for AY 2023-2024

Attention, senior high students! De La Salle University has opened college admissions for incoming first-year students for academic year 2023 to 2024. This year, applicants have to take the DLSU College Admissions Test (DCAT) to get in.

According to the DLSU website, admissions will be based on DCAT results, high school academic records, recommendations, class rank, personal statement, and other pertinent information indicated on the application form. Applications will be done online and are open from Sept. 12 to Nov. 30, 2022.

Who can apply?

Aspriing green archers applying within the period must fall under any of the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 students who are expected to graduate at the end of AY 2022-2023
  • Students who graduated from Grade 12 (local or abroad) in AY 2021-2022 or earlier and have not taken any college course from any university
  • Passer of Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT), Alternative Learning System (ALS), or Non-Formal Education Accreditation and Equivalency (NFEA&E) Program
  • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) result holder, AP result holder, IB Diploma/IB Certificate holder, or A Level certificate holder

Requirements

Those who wish to apply must accomplish the online application form and provide the following requirements:

  • Copy of Grade 11 or 12 ID card
  • 2x2 or Passport Photo
  • Secondary Scholastic Record in DLSU format
  • Grade 11 report card or Transcript of Records/Form 137
  • PSA issued Birth Certificate
  • Recommendation letters from high school principal or subject teacher from Grade 11 or 12 and guidance counselor from Grade 11 or 12

Freshmen can take the DCAT at the Taft or Laguna campus and external testing centers. The Taft campus will be holding tests on three Sundays in January 2023, while Laguna will be holding them on one Saturday in February 2023.

Applicants are only allowed to choose their testing locations as the schedule of their exam will be computer generated. DLSU will release application results by the fourth week of March that year.
